One of the best ways to do this is to model ourselves on people who are successful: Think, act, and speak like a success and you are on the way to being one. Despite much helpful material (even regarding nutrition), this book scarcely acknowledges the limitations that exist in people's lives. Of course, the whole thrust of NLP is to learn to focus on one's power and not on one's limits. But the text is too wordyit reads like a transcript of a series of talksand it also needs more structure and organization. I don't know about all the stuff in this book. Does it change your life? I don't know. What I do know is that I fee like Tony's looking over my shoulder pushing me to do what I already know I need to do. Just today I was reading the book and had to put it down to make some important phone calls that I'd been putting off. I know what I need to do to be successful, I think everyone does, but it is just taking those steps, repeating behaviors that lead you in the right direction.

For decades I've been waiting for the perfect intro to viruses and now it's here! Several authors and publishers have attempted this on the introductory/undergrad level, but no one has ever really succeeded.
Harper's strengths: clear nontechnical language, concise and compact format, beautifully illustrated, appealing layout, current facts, study questions, internet sources, Appendix I: replication cycles/strategies of major virus families, perfect for reference and visual learning! Appendix II: viral drugs in tabular form including names, target, mode of action, formulas - a combined textbook and reference.

Not very detailed at all. I am VERY surprised this book is being used in a graduate course. Personally, I couldn't see this being used in any biology (major) undergraduate course either. I've seen more detail of viruses in terms of replication and virulence in molecular biology books than what I've seen in this.

Another OUTSTANDING Book! you can't resist reading

As usual, Lou Baldin has published ANOTHER of his OUTSTANDING books. When you look up at the sky at night and you see the bazillion stars twinkling at you, in a way, they are speaking to you. Big question is Are you listening? If you are ready to expand your "mental/spiritual" horizons from your current limited "beliefs", give your self permission to stretch your mental neurons . In the end, you may discover a greater awareness of what this life is all about in a way never previously considered. In the process, you may experience it from "front row seats"; the greatest theatrical performance available to 3D/4D humans...grounded to earth.

Information for the road we travel

I have read everything that Lou has written over the years.

Every blog turned into books and every book written as non fiction.
This is more along the blog circuit in question and answer format.

Lou is not for everyone.
His answers are clear and resonate if you are being open and honest with your self, and with in the layers of information some where is E.T.
I say Lou is not for everyone, because not everyone wants to hear the stark reality of their personal truth and how it all ties in with those from outside and other dimensions.

People want to read Gene Roddenberry, but spare the Spock philosophy.
Lou is Spock with light touches of Gene Roddenberry.

I always pick up something new in ATS blogs that relates directly to me.
This time it was about how we/I operate outside our/my own parameters. I never had a clue that there were parameters, and reading someone like Lou tells you that you are seeking to live outside those set parameters.

I also read Lou leans to the right in his ideology which is really quite surprising because Lou's thoughts (IMHO) and realities read like a central leaning left progressive like myself; could it be our definition of right is all wrong?

Because the book is in Blog format you can pick it up on any page and put it down and return at anytime and the conversation is still in full swing.
A great read and lots to take on board for a fruitful and happy life.

This books shows imagination yet I found it mundane and boring. The story line is poorly developed and feels repetitive. If you are looking for a book that is about women being used as animals than this is the book for you but it has very little details. I was very disappointed in this read.

I liked the fattening element because that's my thing.

I didn't like the degradation parts (girl in story constantly soaked in urine, etc.), but that's just me. If you like that kind of thing, go for it.

FINE DESCRIPTIVE DIAGRAMS

Designed for students taking biology-based courses in both High School and early University years, this colouring book is equipped with a lot of stuff, which will satisfy its audience.
The coverage of this atlas spanned across a wide variety of animals: from the minute simple ones to the largest and the most complex chordates. Its beautifully illustrated diagrams would appeal to students of biology, zoology, agriculture, veterinary medicine, and a long list of other ancillaries.
Each figure that featured in this book received adequate structural identification, inaddition to a well-described anatomical components. The elaborations given to their respective taxonomies are more than satisfactory.
In fact, there is hardly anything to complain about here: The price of this book is reasonable. Still, I wish that (in subsequent edition), the syllabus of this book should be enlarged, so as to accommodate more specimens.

This book sounds ridiculous, and I was mocked by my roommates for using it in college, but it taught me more than my Zoology professor and text book combined. A great resource for passing the tests as well as retaining the knowledge.

I have found this book to be a valuable resource to not only myself, but my students as well. It works wonders for those of us visual learners that need that little bit extra. The diagrams take you through most of the common animals studied in Zoology classes. Systems of each animal are the highlight of each coloring plate.
